Altaration is designed to stir thought, create conversation, dispel myths, and inspire young souls to a deep and lasting love for the Mass. Teens will be captivated by the story, from Creation all the way through salvation history, and they will come to see how the sacraments, prayer, and discipleship are the keys to a happy life. The goal of this lesson program is nothing short of winning over the hearts of teens and making them lifelong disciples of Christ. Featuring twelve of the top youth experts in the Church today and filmed in more than 50 locations, Chosen is unlike any program available in the Church today. Both use the same twenty four lessons and only differ in how Confirmation preparation is emphasized and highlighted in the Confirmation edition. This captivating program guides students toward a powerful Encounter with God.

Free resources for youth pastors, small group leaders, parents, teens, etc Daniel has been an editor with ChurchLeaders for several years. Daniel and his wife, along with an incredible team, helped plant Anchor City Church in San Diego—a third culture, multi-generational church who seeks to join the redemptive mission of God for our city and for the world. Boundless is a community for Christian young adults who want to grow up, own their faith, date with purpose, and prepare for marriage and family.
As youth ministers, we want our students to make great choices for their lives. We see countless students get into spiritually harmful dating relationships. We sit across the table from the young man that sees the sin he and his girlfriend are in and wants out. It breaks our hearts every time. We sometimes feel that if we delivered the right sermon at the right time, maybe it would solve a problem for one of our students. Because of this we may teach things to students that are often shortsighted.
They may help them here and now but may not be what they need to hear in the long run. We all understand that sex is a gift from God and should be enjoyed inside the covenant of marriage. We may even try to teach this. We hear the stories of Christian couples that experience guilt and shame during their marriages, because this has become so ingrained in their thinking.

But dating is not marriage! That was the culture then, as it still is in some parts of the world.
In fact, Jesus lays down a number of principles that can be applied to the issue of dating, and what I want us to see is that:.

Games with a Point
The Youth Ministry at Faith Church is dedicated to helping teens grow in their relationship with Christ and to preparing them to apply their faith to all of life. We want our kids to be equipped to win their generation for Christ and to influence the world. Our mission is to win youth to Christ, disciple youth in Christ, and equip youth to serve Christ. Our vision is to create a loving, Christ-centered fellowship in which teens who have internal, Christ-like character and external Christ-like priorities are equipped to introduce their friends to Christ.
We use lots of active learning techniques and are in the Bible each week. The weekly youth group meets on Friday nights from pm.

I remember vividly when the book I Kissed Dating Goodbye came out. The best seller by Joshua Harris was recently back in the spotlight when Harris announced on social media that he separated from his wife and left the Christian faith. My parents, like many other Christian leaders and parents at that time, came of age in the sexual revolution. They were personally impacted by the dramatic cultural changes that came as their generation denounced previously accepted sexual values such as saving sex for marriage, marital fidelity, and sexual self-restraint.
